6 articles

  • Why was my verification rejected?Usually because the photo of your ID was unclear, the document was expired, or the details you entered don't match your ID. Identity checks are carried out by our licensed partner, Bridge, not by Zeeo.
  • What does my verification status mean? You'll see your status on the Home screen.
  • Why do I need to verify my identity?Anyone who moves money is required by law to know who their customers are. It protects you and everyone else on Zeeo from fraud and money laundering.
  • What do I need to verify my identity?A valid, original government ID: passport, driver's license or national ID card A live selfie: a quick face scan to confirm it's you Your legal name, date of birth and home address, exactly as they appear on your ID
  • How long does verification take? Most checks finish within minutes. Some go to a manual review, which can take longer, usually up to a few business days. We'll send you a notification as soon as there's a decision.
  • I'm travelling or moving to another countryTravelling doesn't affect your account. You can keep using Zeeo abroad.

Zeeo does not offer, hold, transmit, or take custody of funds, and does not provide custodial or regulated financial services. Your balance is held in digital dollars and euros in a self-custodial wallet that only you control, designed to hold a 1:1 value with the underlying currency. It is not a bank deposit, is not insured by the FDIC, and is not covered by any deposit guarantee or investor compensation scheme. All wallet functionality is powered by Privy, a non-custodial infrastructure provider. Wallets and private keys are created and controlled exclusively by users through multi-party computation and are not accessible by Zeeo. Any payment-related services, including virtual accounts, currency conversion, and bank payouts, are provided solely by third-party licensed financial institutions and money transmitters under their own terms.
